EARLY RELEASES FOR THIS WEEK:

TODAY, Feb 23: Girls FR and JV Basketball have an early release at 2:20. Bus leaves for West Catholic at 2:35.

TODAY, Feb 23: Competitive Ski has an early release at 1:30. Vans leave at 1:45.

Friday, Feb 24: Boys Swim team has an early release at 8:55. Bus leaves for Jenison at 9:15.

Friday, Feb 24: Boys Dive team has an early release at 1:00. Van leaves for Jenison at 1:15.

Friday, Feb 24: V Hockey has an early release at 2:00. Bus leaves for Traverse City at 2:30.

JUNIOR CLASS PARENT MEETING: There will be a junior class parent meeting TONIGHT, February 23 at 6:30pm in the high school auditorium. Items discussed will be the college application process, college visits, scholarship opportunities, and more! Students are encouraged to attend.

EARLY COLLEGE APPLICATIONS: The deadline to apply is this Friday, February 24. For more information, please speak with Mr. Sabo in the Guidance Office.

RING ORDERS: If anyone missed the opportunity to order a class ring on Friday but wish to receive the special school promotional pricing, please bring your order form and deposit to the main office before the end of the day this Friday, February 24.

TIMERS ARE NEEDED FOR THE UPCOMING MS SWIM MEETS: Timers are needed for the middle school swim meets on Tuesday, Feb 28 and Thursday, March 2. Those interested need to sign up in the Athletic Office.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET PAID TO DRIVE YOUR KIDS TO SCHOOL? How about becoming a bus driver for Spring Lake Public School? There are currently open routes available. Your training to obtain a CDL license will be paid. Work on school days; be home to enjoy your kids on non-student days! ATTENTION FRESHMEN: Interested in going on a field trip? The Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company is offering a special showing of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing to high school students on Tuesday, March 28 at 10am. The cost is $6 per student. Please see Ms. Vought for a permission slip. Money and permission slips are due by Monday, February 27 to reserve your ticket. There are 60 spots available.

BLUE FINE ARTS CAMP JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Blue Fine Arts Camp, located in Twin Lake, has many full time summer food service opportunities for candidates 18 and over. Fun, flexible, forty-hour weeks are available from 6/12 through 8/20. Applications can be found at Local Support Staff | Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. Starting compensation is $10.50 per hour. Open to scheduling with others from Spring Lake, for carpooling opportunity. They are now accepting applications with interviews taking place on March 1. UPCOMING COLLEGE VISITS:

- Grand Rapids Community College will be hosting its annual Spring Open House on Saturday, March 25, from 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center. All prospective students and their families are welcome. For more information see the poster by the guidance office or visit the website www.grcc.edu/openhouse.

- Juniors and seniors, CMU is offering its annual Leadership Camp for juniors and seniors. Two camp dates are offered in May. The deadline to register is April 21. See the poster by the guidance office for more details or the website www.cmich.edu/LCamp.

- Grand Rapids Community College invites students and families to The Performing and Fine Arts Preview Night Wednesday, March 15 at 6:00 in the Spectrum Theater, 160 Fountain St NE. A $500 scholarship will be raffled for attendees that night. For more information see the poster by the guidance office or contact GRCC.

- The National College Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 28 from 8:30 - 11:30 am and 6 - 8 pm in Grand Rapids at the DeVos Place Conference Center. See the poster in the guidance office for more information or register at www.nacacfairs.org/ncfstudentregistration to receive fair details. This is a free event and open to students and parents.
